Civil Societies Threaten To File Petition Against Executive

A civil society lobby group, Coalition For Grassroots Civil Society Organizations Kenya, has said it will move to the constitutional court to seek an order on the disobedience of court orders by the executive. The group in a press conference this morning further wants the constitutional court to declare presidential directives against court orders declared illegal C.G.S.O has also expressed concerns on the loss of independence in the three arms of govt due to executive interference.
