South Korea aims to create a national bio-data cluster that encompasses those on new medicine and artificial intelligence by next year.
Currently, individual ministries are running 274 data platforms,... but Finance Minister Hong Nam-ki said this morning that the government will put all related data together into the new data platform by 14 sectors.
Those will include material data on stem cells, brain research and micro-organisms.
Hong also urged Japan to show a sincere attitude to resolve the trade row with South Korea.
Hong highlighted Seoul's efforts to continue trade talks with Tokyo,... and reevaluated South Korea's export related systems.
