Frontline medical staff battling the pandemic in the summer heat here in South Korea will get ice jackets to keep them safe and cool.
The Korean Nurses Association plans to deliver around five-thousand jackets to almost six-hundred screening stations and hospitals treating COVID-19.
Medical staff will wear the cooling jackets inside their protective suits.
The South Korean government also plans to come up with similar measures to keep healthcare workers cool in the hot weather.
