Seoul offers free COVID-19 tests to people without symptoms to prevent cluster infections

Starting today, any Seoul resident who wants to get tested for COVID-19 can apply for free testing even if they don't have any symptoms.
The Seoul city government has designated 7 municipal hospitals as places for free tests as a preemptive move to prevent further cluster infections in the community.
Previously, the coronavirus testing was limited to those who've been in contact with confirmed patients or have visited infected areas while also having symptoms of the virus.
Citizens will have to apply for the tests online before visiting the hospitals .
