The number of COVID-19 cases around the world has topped two-point-three million.
In the United States,.... there are now over 750-thousand cases and more than 40-thousand deaths.
Other nations, which witnessed low numbers in the beginning of this pandemic,... are now starting to see a surge in numbers.

COVID-19 is affecting 210 countries and territories,... and have now reached over 2-point-3 million cases,... and over 160-thousand deaths.
Of all the countries,... the United States have seen the highest number of reported infections at over 750-thousand,... as well over 40-thousand deaths as of Sunday.
Among the worst hit states,... New York has been at the epicenter of the U.S. outbreak.
New York governor Andrew Cuomo expressed optimism on Sunday,... saying the "beast" can be controlled,... as he extended the state's lockdown until May 15th.
In Russia,... despite its quick measures to lock down its borders,... there has been a sudden surge in infections with the country seeing over 42-thousand cases,... and over 360 deaths.
Russia, which once saw one of the lowest number of infection cases worldwide,... now has the 10th most infections globally.
Singapore,... whose strict containment measures once saw one of the lowest numbers in the world,... is now starting to see an uptick.
The nation saw 596 new infections on Sunday,... and now has more than 65-hundred cases so far.
While South Korea is showing a decline in its number of infections,... the world as a whole continues to struggle.
