South Korea looks to have prevailed on the major issues in its WTO dispute settlement against Japan over pneumatic valves, which are used for automobiles, general machinery and electronics.
According to a report disclosed by the WTO appeals body on Monday,... it decided that Seoul's anti-dumping tariffs on such valves did not violate WTO rules.
The final decision will be confirmed by the WTO dispute settlement body within 30 days.
Tokyo had filed the complaint against the South Korean government after Seoul imposed anti-dumping duties on pneumatic valves in 2015.
