Other WTO member countries stay silent amid Seoul-Tokyo trade dispute

As South Korea and Japan clashed in Geneva Wednesday, other WTO members were silent on the issue.
At the meeting attended by some 160 countries, Seoul and Tokyo made remarks in turn, but no other countries spoke out to support either side, including those that could help mediate such as the U.S.
Only the chairperson of the meeting mentioned that he hopes the two sides can find a middle ground.
