Trade dispute sees Japan tour sales plunge by 80%

Amid the trade war between Seoul and Tokyo, demand for overseas travel to Japan plunged in August compared to a year ago..
According to data from travel agencies Hana Tour and Mode Tour,... sales of travel packages to Japan fell on year respectively by 77 percent and 83 percent.
Hana Tour said sales of overseas tour packages overall also declined by 31 percent on-year despite the peak season... not only because of the Japan situation but also Hong Kong.
For Mode Tour, sales of overseas tours were down 29 percent.
