Song Kang-ho becomes first Asian actor to receive 'Excellence Award' from Swiss film festival

South Korean actor Song Kang-ho has received the Excellence Award at the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland... becoming the first Asian to earn the honor.
Song said he wants to thank and give credit to director Bong Joon-ho, who's worked with him in a number of projects, including the recent Cannes-winning movie "Parasite."
The Excellence Award is given to actors and actresses who've contributed to the cultivation of the international movie industry.
Past recipients include famous Hollywood stars Susan Sarandon and Willem Dafoe.
