The city of Seoul has opened five newly planted forests along the Han River.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government says these "nature forests" will give visitors an eco-friendly way to take shelter from the heat and serve as buffer from the fine dust and traffic.
The Hangang River Forest Development Project started around 4 years ago.
And since then, the city planted nearly 12-thousand trees including bamboo and pine trees near Nanji, Banpo and Ichon riverside parks.
