Life & Info: Seoul City steps up efforts against closed tents, trash at Hangang parks
  • 5 years ago
Seoul City is looking to clean up the parks along the Han River.
The city government says tents will only be allowed from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. …at 13 specified zones in 11 riverside parks, including Yeouido and Banpo Hangang Park.
Tents must be under two meters wide, …and at least two sides of the tents must remain open ...due to concerns over inappropriate behavior.
Violators can be fined up to 900 U.S. dollars.
To cut down on waste, flyers for food delivery services can only be posted to notice boards, not dished out to people sat in the park.
Also those looking to hold events at the parks must now submit their own cleaning plans.
