Seoul informs foreign delegates on Tokyo's export restrictions

The government is stepping up efforts to inform the international community... of problems associated with Japan's recent export restrictions... and to reiterate Seoul's stance on the issue.
The Foreign ministry, along with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, held a briefing on Tuesday... for delegates from 28 countries.
The foreign ministry stressed Seoul is doing its utmost to prevent the situation from worsening... and that Tokyo must refrain from imposing unilateral measures threatening global economy and trade.
It also stressed South Korea's opposition to any additional restrictive measures and urged the Japanese government to cooperate to diplomatically resolve the issue.
