Hundreds of protesters in Hong Kong gathered outside the city's Department of Justice on Thursday,... demanding the complete withdrawal of a controversial extradition bill.
They say the bill would compromise Hong Kong's legal system by linking the island's judicial system with that of mainland China.
They demanded the Secretary of Justice, Teresa Cheng, to come out and speak with them.
Another group of protesters gathered outside the police headquarters on the same day, accusing police of using excessive force against protesters.
