Now before President Trump gets to Seoul in a couple of days, we understand that the U.S. Special representative for North Korea is due to arrive in Seoul in the next few minutes.
For more let's connect live to our foreign affairs ministry correspondent Lee Ji-won who's on the line for us.
Ji-won fill us in
Devin, the plane Stephen Biegun is on is set to arrive at South Korea's Incheon International Airport in a matter of minutes.
What we know so far... is that Biegun won't be meeting with his South Korean counterpart, the Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs, until tomorrow morning.
They'll be sitting down at 10 tomorrow and finishing before lunch.
We also know that Biegun will be meeting with Seoul's Unification Minister Kim Yeon-chul... later Friday at 5 p.m.
Now unlike his previous visits, when he took most of his meals with his South Korean counterpart, Biegun this time will only be dining with Lee tomorrow evening.
Tonight, instead, he'll be having dinner with his own team and U.S. embassy officials, and the same for tomorrow's lunch.
This is believed to be because U.S. officials are busy preparing for President Donald Trump's visit to Seoul from Saturday to Sunday.
Meanwhile, while there's been speculation that Biegun might try to get in touch with the North Koreans at the border village of Panmunjeom, sources here speculate that it's not likely because the schedule is tight as it is.
Biegun will leave together with President Trump on Sunday.
This is all from me for now Devin.
