N. Korea calls off meetings with S. Korean civic groups because 'objectives were being distorted': civic group

Meetings that were to take place between South and North Korean civic groups in the Chinese city of Shenyang starting today were abruptly called off this morning... as the North unilaterally cancelled them.
According to the South Korean Committee for Implementation of the June 15th Declaration, the North said... they had to cancel the meetings... because it seemed the objectives were being distorted through South Korean media.
Concerns are rising among these civic groups, on the current impasse in inter-Korean relations.
