Blue House, gov't and Democratic Party to discuss bills on economy and livelihoods
  • 5 years ago
Officials from the Blue House, the government and the ruling party will meet this afternoon to discuss pending bills on the economy and people's livelihoods.
The three sides are expected to discuss ways to cope with the current economic situation in Korea, especially on pending bills regarding flexible working hours, the minimum wage and the supplementary budget.
For almost two weeks there's been no progress on such issues since cooperation broke down with the opposition Liberty Korea Party... over the fast-tracking of key bills by the ruling party and others.
