The South Korean government will keep close tabs on the country's real estate market,... and vowed stronger action against any signs of speculation.
The government agreed this in a high level meeting with the presidential office and members of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea on Thursday ahead of next week's regular parliamentary session.
The groups also agreed to take preemptive measures to curb consumer prices ahead of the Chuseok holiday next month,... and provide financial support for the self-employed and small business owners during that period.
They also plan to hold such high level meetings once a month,... and hold closed door meetings every week.
