Meanwhile, Canada has finalized its decision to exempt South Korean steel products from safeguard measures.
Seoul's trade ministry said on Satuday... that the Canadian government decided not to restrict its import of stainless steel wires and heavy steel plates from Korea.
Korean steel exports to Canada last year amounted to 620-thousand tons,... some 2 percent of its total outbound steel shipments.
The announcement comes... just days after Turkey's decision to lift its provisional safeguard measures against Korean steel products.
Pundits say the latest news is expected to ease uncertainty in the local steel industry.
