U.S. will not intervene in S. Korea's decision to provide food aid to N. Korea: White House

The United States has reiterated its position on North Korea: maximum pressure BUT, says it will NOT intervene if South Korea decides to move forward and provide humanitarian aid to the North.
Various reports have shown that North Korea is suffering from the worst food crisis in a decade.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters Wednesday that Washington's primary focus remains North Korea's denuclearization... adding it will continue with its maximum pressure campaign against the regime.
Seoul's presidential office said Wednesday that President Trump had expressed support for South Korea's possible humanitarian assistance to North Korea,... during a phone call with President Moon Jae-in earlier that evening.
