Indonesians to apply for entry visas to S. Korea at visa application center
  • 5 years ago
South Korea has opened a visa application center in Indonesia to accommodate the increasing number of visitors to the country.
The Korean Embassy in Jakarta announced that it will no longer accept visa applications.
Instead, Indonesians are now required to apply at the Korea Visa Application Center in Jakarta's Lotte Shopping Avenue mall.
Embassy officials said the new center is in a more accessible location and will receive applications for six hours a day, as opposed to two and a half hours at the embassy.
In 2018, the Korean embassy issued nearly 160-thousand visas to Indonesians-- nearly four times the number recorded in 2010.
