A tropical cyclone has hit India and Bangladesh,... killing at least 30 people and injuring close to 180 more.
Cyclone Fani made landfall in the eastern part of India on Friday,... killing at least 12 people and injuring more than 100 in the state of Odisha before sweeping into Bangladesh.
Bangladeshi authorities say at least 17 people have died and 63 have been hurt,... while some 2-thousand-200 homes have been destroyed.
However, mass evacuations in both countries are said to have saved many lives.
