美 대이란제재 예외 오늘로 끝,... 한국경제에 미치는 영향은?

As of Thursday, South Korea is no longer exempt from the U.S. sanctions on oil from Iran.
Late last month, Secretary of State Pompeo announced that there would be no extensions of the waivers granted to eight main buyers of Iranian oil,... including South Korea and Japan.
Washington's toughest ever sanctions on Tehran come after the U.S. withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran in May last year.
This will take a toll, to some degree, on South Korea's petrochemical industry, which imports 80-percent of its condensate, or ultralight oil, from Iran and Qatar.
