U.S. and Japanese foreign ministers and defense chiefs held a meeting in Washington... to discuss North Korea's denuclearization.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said... that in cooperation with Japan and the international community,... they will also continue to press North Korea to abandon its ballistic missiles and related programs... while enforcing sanctions on the regime.
Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono also agreed... to the U.S. position on North Korea... for the dismantling of ALL weapons of mass destruction.
The United States and Japan vowed to continue their cooperation with other regional partners,... notably South Korea, India and other Southeast Asian countries.
