한독 외교장관 대화…"北 비핵화 행동까지 제재조치 유지"

The nation's top diplomat met with her German counterpart for the first time... to launch their strategic dialogue.
The two discussed various global issues, but mainly it was North Korea's denuclearization.
Heiko Maas said the meeting gave him a better understanding of the latest developments on the Peninsula and that his country understands the pain of a nation divided.
The minister promised Berlin will help with Pyongyang's denuclearization by sharing what it learned in setting up Iran's nuclear agreement.
But he also said that because negotiations are ongoing and the North is yet to take any concrete measures, sanctions will remain in place.
Kang Kyung-hwa agreed, but added that South Korea will continue working to boost exchanges with the North.
She also said that while North Korea has and is dismantling key test sites for its nuclear and missile programs, verification must take place.
