Pres. Moon asks parliament for confirmation reports for Constitutional Court nominees

President Moon has asked parliament to move ahead with two new justice nominees for the Constitutional Court -- after lawmakers failed to adopt reports on their confimation hearings by Monday's deadline.
According to the Blue House, the president has asked that the reports for Lee Mi-sun and Moon Hyung-bae be approved by Thursday.
Opposition parties have protested Lee's appointment because of her husband's activities on the stock market, which she denies being involved in.
President Moon can still appoint the nominees even if the reports are not approved,... and is likely to do so by Friday as their predecessors' terms end Thursday
