President Moon has asked parliament to move ahead with two nominees for the Constitutional Court -- specifically, to approve reports on their confirmation hearings last week, which lawmakers had not done by Monday's deadline.
According to the Blue House, the president has asked that the reports for Lee Mi-sun and Moon Hyung-bae be approved by this Thursday.
Opposition parties have protested Lee's appointment because of her husband's activities on the stock market, which Lee denied having any part in.
President Moon can still appoint them even if the reports are not approved.
And because their predecessors' terms end on Thursday, it's likely the president will appoint them on Friday.
