U.S. President Donald Trump has renewed his criticism against the Federal Reserve,... saying the Fed's measures have hindered the country's economic growth.
President Trump took to Twitter on Sunday to express his frustration with the central bank,... saying its quantitative tightening was (quote) "a killer,"... and the Fed should have done the exact opposite.
He also said that, if the Fed had done its job properly,... the nation's GDP would have been well above four percent instead of three.
Trump's attack comes just days after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said the Fed would not bend to political pressure.
