Blaming the U.S. Federal Reserve for hindering the country's economic growth,.... U.S. President Donald Trump ramped up his criticisms against the Fed.
He tweeted on Sunday.... saying the Fed's quantitative tightening was (quote) "a killer,"... and that it should've done the exact opposite.
Trump also said... if the Fed had done its job properly,... the nation's GDP would have been well above four percent instead of three.
His attack comes just days after Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said, the Fed would not bend to political pressure.
