S. Korea delegation attends event marking 100th anniversary of provisional government founding in Shanghai

A commemoration marking 100 years since the founding of Korea's provisional government was also held in Shanghai -- where it all started.
The event was attended by some 600 people,... including descendants of independence fighters,... as well as a South Korean delegation, from the government and the National Assembly.
They paid silent tribute to the martyrs,... and watched performances reenacting the process in which Korea's provisional charter -- which outlines people's basic rights and duties -- was made.
Prior to the ceremony,... the South Korean delegation visited the building in which the government-in-exile was launched,... as well as a memorial dedicated to Korean independence fighter Yun Bong-gil -- who set off a bomb to assassinate several high profile Japanese figures in 1932.
