Resolution 301, titled "Expressing the importance of the United States alliance with the Republic of Korea and the contributions of Korean Americans in the United States" was passed on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the provisional government.
This marks the first time U.S. Congress has recognized the provisional government of Korea as the beginning of its founding.
