S. Korean take-out drink stores' sales hit by fine dust pollution
  • 5 years ago
Take-out drink shops in South Korea have taken a hit in sales due to the recent poor air quality.
Industry insiders said Wednesday that between late February and early March this year, sales figures for fruit juice franchise "Juicy"... were down by as much as twenty-percent from the year before.
The fine dust concentration levels were at a record high in early March.
The franchise said it had seen fewer customers coming in to buy take-out drinks, and more visitors placing delivery orders through mobile applications.
