Shifting our focus elsewhere,... U.K. lawmakers once again rejected the government’s exit plan to withdraw from the European Union.
Parliament voted Friday local time on the government's proposal... to approve a withdrawal agreement and leave the EU on May 22nd.
286 voted for... and 344 voted against the agreement.
This marks the third time... that the Theresa May government has failed to pass a Brexit deal.
The European Council had agreed last week... to extend the Brexit deadline to May 22nd if the vote passes.
But, with the failure of the vote,... the UK is now set to leave the EU on April 12th without a deal in place.
