President Moon has accepted the resignation of Blue House spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom... following allegations of real estate speculation.
Kim purchased a 2-million dollar building in Seoul last year,... with his entire fortune and a bank loan of 880-thousand dollars.
That building is located at an area soon to be redeveloped,... which is believed to lead to millions of dollars in profit.
That drew great criticism from the public,... especially as it came amid President Moon's tough new real estate policies.
In a text to reporters on Friday,... Kim said that his wife had secretly bought the building,... and that things were too late to reverse by the time he had found out.
But he took the blame for such actions.
