Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Kang Jung-ho hit his seventh home run of spring training in a preseason game.... against the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday..... at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida.
Kang broke the record previously held by Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees for the most home runs during preseason.
He also broke Park Byung-ho's record of six home runs in preseason games,.... which he achieved in 2017 while playing for the Minnesota Twins.
Kang Jung-ho's preseason batting average has gone up from zero-point-2-31 to zero-point-2-38.
The Pittsburgh Pirates will open their regular season against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday.
