S. Korea bans flight of B737 MAX jets for three months
  • 5 years ago
Following other countries' suit,... South Korea has decided to ban Boeing 7-3-7 Max aircraft from landing and taking off at local airports, and from passing through the country's airspace for three months.
This decision comes after there were two crashes involving the 7-3-7 Max model over the past five months.
On Thursday, the Transport Ministry notified airlines worldwide of the decision.
The government also plans to ban any additional acquisitions of the model until it's shown to be safe.
