S. Korea, U.S. in close contact amid speculation over N. Korea's missile site activity

South Korea's National Security Council is communicating closely with its American counterpart when it comes to North Korea issues..., especially regarding the apparent construction taking place at the Dongchang-ri missile launch site.
The Blue House texted a statement to that effect to the local press corps on Monday.... when asked about a possible phone conversation between President Moon's top security adviser Chung Eui-yong and his American counterpart John Bolton.
The two are expected to talk over the phone this afternoon.
Bolton had said on Sunday... that he planned to discuss reports of that activity in the North with his South Korean counterpart in the near future.
