Movements detected at N. Korea's missile sites

Meanwhile,... there have been more movements at sites in Dongchang-ri and Saneum-dong as well.
Kan Hyeong-woo tells us more.

Satellite images of North Korea's main missile-launch site in Dongchang-ri suggest a building has been reassembled and moved to its previous spot where it had stood before being taken down last year.

According to VOA on Thursday,... Planet Labs satellite images taken on March 2nd and 6th show the transportable building has been moved to the southeast side of the area,... indicating more movements within the missile-launch site.

Earlier this week, 38 North - a North Korea monitoring website - reported North Korea is rebuilding structures at the Sohae Satellite Launching station in Dongchang-ri... where the regime tested missile engines for its intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Analyzing satellite imagery of the same area,... the Center for Strategic and International Studies - a think-tank in Washington - said North Korea is rapidly reconstructing its long-range missile launch site to show its stance after the Hanoi summit ended without an agreement.

But Dongchang-ri isn't the only missile-related site where movements have been spotted. Quoted by lawmakers at the National Assembly,... South Korea's National Intelligence Service said supply vehicles have been observed at the Saneum-dong missile research center on the outskirts of Pyeongyang.

The Saneum-dong site is believed to be used for developing ballistic missile technology, testing rocket engines and producing ICBMs.
