Eleven landmarks in seven cities across the world... were lit up in red and blue to commemorate Korea's March First Independence Movement.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on Wednesday... that it asked sister cities around the world to participate in this event.
Landmarks including Ada Bridge in Serbia, the Palace of Culture and Science in Poland and the Angel of Independence in Mexico City were lit up red and blue,... which symbolizes the Korean flag.
Seoul's seven sister cities also include San Francisco, Tallinn in Estonia, Delhi in India and Wellington in New Zealand.
