South Korea's Foreign Minister has expressed guarded optimism that North Korea could agree to something beyond the dismantlement of its main nuclear complex during the Hanoi summit.
Speaking to Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency in Geneva on Monday,... Kang Kyung-wha also called for the North to take "concrete steps" towards its disarmament if it wants to secure corresponding measures from the U.S.
Noting that U.S. nuclear envoy Stephen Biegun had extensive consultations with the North during his recent trip to Pyeongyang,... Kang also expressed her expectation for "meaningful results" from this week's summit.
