Seoul's FM talks with Singaporean counterpart to seek cooperation on N.K.-U.S. summit

South Korea's Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha spoke on the phone Monday with her Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan... to ask for her government's cooperation on the North Korea-U.S. summit to be held in the city-state on June 12th.
The two agreed that the summit is a very important event for peace and for denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.
Balakrishnan said... Singapore will do its best to host the summit successfully,... but also said that will require advice from South Korea, which hosted a historic summit on its own territory last month,... and in help terms of how to interact with North.
Kang explained some of the preparatory work Seoul did for the inter-Korean summit,... and explained South Korea's efforts for lasting peace on the Peninsula.
