Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be South Korea's first state guest of 2019 as he makes a two-day state visit to Seoul next Thursday upon the invitation of President Moon Jae-in.
A summit between the two will be held next Friday, which will then be followed by an MOU signing ceremony and a state luncheon.
According to the Blue House, the two leaders are expected to discuss ways to expand practical cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, science and technology, and the defense industry in order to cultivate a more mutually beneficial relationship.
Also, the two leaders will likely reaffirm India's full support for the 'Peace Process' on the Korean Peninsula.
