U.S. Special Envoy Lambert discusses denuclearization of N. Korea with Russia

The U.S. Special Envoy for North Korea and his Russian counterparts are said to have met in Moscow on Monday to discuss efforts aimed at achieving the final, fully verified denuclearization of North Korea.
The U.S. State Department said on Wednesday local time that U.S. Special Envoy Mark Lambert called his meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Ambassador Oleg Burmistrov "candid and constructive".
During the meeting, Lambert shared Washington's commitment to "making progress on the transformation of U.S.-North Korea relations" and establishing permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula, along with taking steps toward the North's complete denuclearization.
