Officials from S. Korea, U.S. and N. Korea discuss denuclearization during Track 1.5 talks

A number of issues were discussed during day one of the Track one-point-5 meeting in Finland involving government and non-governmental officials from Seoul, Washington and Pyongyang.
Taking place in Helsinki on Tuesday,... representatives of the three sides talked about the upcoming back-to-back summits with North Korea... as well as the regime's denuclearization.
They also discuss the pre-summit efforts needed from other regional powers,... such as China, Japan and Russia.
The participants include South Korean experts, North Korea's deputy director for North American affairs Choe Kang-il and retired U.S. diplomat Kathleen Stephens.
The talks will continue on Wednesday.
