Samsung Electronics selected as best brand by French consumers

French consumers have named Samsung Electronics as the best brand of the year.
In the "Best Brands France 2019" survey by European advertising consultancy Serviceplan and German market research firm Growth from Knowledge, Samsung Electronics came first or second in three out of the survey's four categories.
The tech giant took first place in the 'product brand' category.
It also came second in the 'corporate brand' category, behind Amazon, and in the 'Golden Age Brand' category, behind Bose.
Samsung Electronics and French tire brand Michelin were the only two brands that came in the top ten in at least three categories.
In last year's survey, Samsung Electronics also ranked as the top product brand and second best corporate brand.
