A North Korean art troupe is heading to Beijing for a concert to celebrate 70 years of bilateral ties between North Korea and China.
According to Pyeongyang's state media Korean Central News Agency, the art troupe left Pyeongyang yesterday afternoon... and is led by Ri Su-yong, vice chairman of the regime's ruling party central committee.
The train carrying the artists and musicians is expected to arrive in Beijing this morning.
They were invited by China's International Liaison Department as the two countries seek to foster stronger ties after their summit earlier this year.
The art troupe will be performing for four days starting this Saturday... at Beijing's National Centre for the Performing Arts.
