Application period starts for children's allowance for kids under 6 years old

Applications for child benefit allowance start today in South Korea.
Families with a child under six years old can apply for a monthly payment of around 90 U.S. dollars.
Even families in the highest ten percent income bracket are eligible,... as from this year, child benefit allowance will be given to everyone.
It applies to children born after February 1st, 2013 and applications will be accepted until March 31st.
Starting from September, the allowance will be expanded to cover children under seven years old.
