There's been talk of several possible locations for the next Kim-Trump summit.
But one of them -- Mongolia -- looks a lot less likely now.
Mongolia's ambassador to the U.S., Yondon Otgonbayar, said in an interview Wednesday with Voice of America... that the extreme cold in his country this time of year would make it hard to host the summit.
The ambassador said he's aware that Ulaanbaatar was one of the final candidates for the first Kim-Trump summit,... and that Mongolia's president was enthusiastic about hosting it.
Mongolia's relative proximity to North Korea and the fact it has diplomatic ties with both sides had made it a strong candidate.
Among most observers, that leaves three locations -- Bangkok, Hanoi and Hawaii.
