Mongolia's extreme cold to make it difficult for the country to host 2nd Kim-Trump summit: Mongolian ambassador to U.S.

Amid increased hopes and expectations for the second North Korea-U.S. summit,.... the shortlist of venues is starting to get narrowed down.
Yondon Otgonbayar, Mongolia's ambassador to the U.S. said in his interview with Voice of America on Wednesday.... that due to the cold weather in Mongolia at this time of year,.... it'd be difficult for the country to host the Kim-Trump summit.
The ambassador said.... he is aware that Ulaanbaatar was one of the final candidates for the first Kim-Trump summit,... and that Mongolia's president was enthusiastic about hosting it.
The country's close distance to North Korea and ties with both sides had made it a strong candidate venue.
This now narrows down the speculation to three locations -- Bangkok, Hanoi and Hawaii.
