Two Koreas discussing planned groundbreaking ceremony for railway and road connections on Thursday
  • 5 years ago
Officials from the two Koreas are discussing ways to move ahead with the groundbreaking ceremony for railway and road connections.
The two sides began talks on Thursday morning at the inter-Korean liaison office in Gaeseong.
A unification ministry official told reporters that.... they will discuss the time and place of the ceremony,... as well as the list of who will be attending the event.
The meeting is part of efforts to hold the event before the end of the year... as agreed at the inter-Korean summit in Pyeongyang in September.
The ministry has already sent a basic plan for the event to the North,... and they have been sorting out the details based on that plan.
