Two Koreas discussing sports exchanges at joint liaison office
  • 5 years ago
Delegations from Seoul and Pyeongyang are meeting as we speak at the joint liaison office just north of the border to discuss inter-Korean sports exchanges.
This is part of implementing the agreements made at high-level talks inter-Korean last month.
South Korea has sent a four-member delegation led by its Vice Sports Minister Roh Tae-kang.
The North's delegation is being led by the regime's Vice Sports Minister, Won Kil-u.
Seoul's Unification Ministry says the two sides will discuss forming joint teams for future international sports events... including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics... and launching a joint bid to host the 2032 Summer Olympics.
